Minimum requirements
- A Bachelor of Laws (LLB); / (Honors) Degree in Linguistics, English Studies, or Applied Language Studies, Business Administration or any Management field.
- A Masters in Linguistics or an LLM will be an added advantag
- At least three (3) years of experience in governance secretariat, or editorial support in a higher-education or public-sector environment.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting, proofreading, and editing governance, legal, or policy documents.
- Strong Familiarity with formal writing conventions, grammar, and style guidelines.
- A Valid Code 08 drivers’ license.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Advanced editing, proofreading, and document-design skills.
- Strong understanding of legal and governance language conventions.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic document-management systems.
- Sound interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
